Recently Bobbi Brown had a friends and family sale online where you got 20% off your entire order. So, I decided to take advantage of it and make some purchases of stuff I really didn't need. But wanted. The first thing I wanted was a new highlight but it was so hard to choose with all the pretty colors. I ended up getting two. I purchased the Rose and Nectar shimmer brick. The next thing I knew that I wanted was the Tawny blush.
So, lets start with the shimmer bricks. First off, I love both of them the colors are so beautiful. I have only used them as a highlighter so far, but I plan on trying them as eye shadows once we get into the spring and summer months. The only down side to them is that I feel like when you take a brush to them you get a lot of fall out around the pan. As for price they are $42 for .4oz of product. They are a little on the pricey side. I recommend checking them out at your local Bobbi Brown counter or store then waiting till the have their friends and family sale so that you can get 20% off.

Bobbi Brown Rose Shimmerbrick
The next product I knew I wanted after seeing it used in a you tube video. Sadly though this was not what I expected. The Tawny blush looked like it was a rosy nude blush that would be perfect for any type of look when I saw the girl use it on you tube. When my package arrived much to my surprise the color was way different. It looks more like a brown with rose under tones. This blush will be nice during the summer months when my very light skin gets a little bronzed. But as a everyday blush color, it does not work for me. Price wise Bobbi Brown blushes retail for $26 for .13oz.
Tawny Blush
Here, is Tawny next to Tarte Dazzled Amazonian clay 12hr blush. The two are very similar I would say that Tawny is darker but almost the same color.
