Sephora VIB Rouge Sale Haul

I guess better late then never Sephora VIB Rouge haul. Last month Sephora had there annual spring VIB sale where you get 15% off. Now I didn't go crazy or anything, but I did get a few items.

First thing I got was the Bite Beauty Agave lip mask. This is just a replacement item, mine is almost out so I figured I would get a new one while it was on sale.

Up next, I got the Bite Beauty Lush Fruit Lip gloss in Ramutan. This is something Ive been wanting to try so I figured why not. I swatched it up against NYX Fortune Cookie on the left and Dior Frisson on right so you can see the color and texture difference.

The third item I get was one I have been really wanting, but could never seem to make myself buy. It is Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Dim Infusion. This is such a beautiful light wash of color, it is perfect for spring and summer. I compared to to MAC Ripe Peach so that you can see the difference in color. Ripe Peach is on top and Dim Infusion is on the bottom.

Last item I got was the Smashbox Step by Step Contour Stick Trio. I really love this. This was not something I was planning on getting but the girl at Sephora talked me into and I am sure glad she did. These are so easy to use and they look so nice on the skin. Colors from left to right are contour, highlight and bronze. Would I buy these again? Most definitely, just for the contour and bronze shade. The highlight shade does nothing for me, but the other two make it worth it. The only downside I can see is the price. I feel like you can go through these pretty quick.
Overall, I think I got a few really good items to add to my collection and are perfect for the spring/summer season.

Popsugar Must Have: April

April 2015 Popsugar Must Have Box

This is my second Popsugar Must Have and to tell you the truth I am a little underwhelmed with it.  This box has a value of $101 without the gift card, which I will get to and I just am not all that happy with it. I will tell you what I think is good and what I think is junk.
First item I wanted to start with is this candle, because I do like this. It has a value of $20, which I would never spend on a candle. I always buy mine when they are on sale. But anyways I normal would never even have smelled this candle if I was in a store because I usually stick to coconut like smells. I am very smell sensitive and a lot of candles give me headaches. This candle however does not and I love the smell, it's Rhubarb by the way.
Next item I like was the umbrella. Lets face it everyone needs an umbrella and this ones seems pretty durable and its cute. The value is $20 which for a durable umbrella is not to bad.
OK, lets start with the items I didn't like. First is the basil in a bag, now don't get me wrong this is a very practical item that some people probably loved. But its just not for me. It has a value of $10, which i guess is good if you are into growing your own herbs. To me this is just something I can see myself cleaning up after Wade our Golden Retriever gets a hold of it.

Next, is another practical item I just won't use. It has a value of $12, really $12 for this thing. There is no way I would have bought this on my own. I am all about recyclable bags and reusing stuff but, I can find something better then this. Also shown in the picture is a gift card to Mott 50 which I was excited about at first, but then I went on there website and was completely bored.
Last is a body serum. This I'm torn about because it sounds really awesome, but lets face it half the time I'm to tired to even put my lotion on my body. So this is a pretty good item I just may not end up using it. It has a $39 value but if it works the way it claims, I could see paying that for it.
If you liked this box tell me what you think. I love hearing other peoples opinions on why they like something because it makes you think of things differently. If you liked it and want to join it's $39.95 a month the link is below.

Kate Somerville Nourish Hydrating Firming Mist

Recently, I ran out of my Clinique toner and decided to try something new. I've been wanting to try a spray toner instead of your standard toner with a cotton round routine. While browsing on Nordstrom I came across the Kate Somerville Nourish Hydrating Firming Mist. It claims to hydrate, firm, and reduce wrinkles. So, I thought why not and ordered it.

When it came in first think I thought was, wow this is really pretty. Then, I wondered how it would work and I couldn't wait to try it. Now, lets talk about the product. It is a mist and it says to use both am and pm after cleansing your face. It is a very fine mist and I do have to use about five sprays to get it all over my face. Things I noticed right away was how it made my skin feel. I feel like when I use it my skin gets this tightening feeling and not the type of tightening feeling you get when your skin is very dry. It is a feeling like the product is firming you skin. Another thing I noticed right away was that it did not sting my skin, which is good because I pretty sensitive skin.

I have been using it now for a couple of weeks and I do really like the product, especially how easy it is to use. I do feel like it does help firm the skin,  which is my biggest concern.  As for wrinkles I haven't noticed a difference but, I'm only in that phase of my life where you want to prevent them from starting. Now, as for the hydrating claim, I do not think it is hydrating. But, I don't think I have ever used a toner that I would call hydrating. It also claims you can use it during the day as a makeup refresher but, since I don't find it hydrating I'm not going to try it. I will stick with my MAC fix plus or Urban Decay chill for that.
I would definitely recommend this toner. The only down side I can see is the cost. It is $48 for 4 oz of product, which is kind of pricey. The good news is you don't go through it very fast. I have been using it for a couple of weeks and the bottle barely looks touched.
